The Side Saddle Association was formed in 1974 to keep alive the dying art of side saddle riding and promote its popularity.  Today The Side Saddle Association provides education, support and instruction to over 1,200 members in the UK and overseas.

The Side Saddle Association is split into multiple regions covering the whole of the United Kingdom and overseas. The below map and links gives more information about these areas and where they cover. Each area has their own chairman and committee who report to the head council. Every region has their own events and individual members, however it is common for members to partake in each other’s ensuring the association is one united body.
